The “Friends of LACASSAGNE” Association presented Professor Joël GUIGAY, Director of the Antoine-Lacassagne Center, with a check for €2,500 accompanied by a donation of €400. These amounts represent the proceeds from two charitable events.
One event featured, under the label “Musi’CAL,” the internationally renowned concert pianist and Nice native Jonathan BENICHOU, while the other came from a recent auction of Art works.
The purpose of the Association is to provide hospitalized individuals with some comfort items that would be difficult to budget for within the regular administration of a healthcare facility. The funds raised from these two events will be dedicated to this use, and find perfect alignment with its aspirations in this latest delivery of the check, as these €2,900 will be used to equip the rooms of the Antoine LACASSAGNE Center located on the 4th Surgery floor and overseen by Doctor Olivier DASSONVILLE, with medical chairs.
