Today and tomorrow, the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes, the Departmental Conservatory of Music, the Academic Federation of Meetings of Choral and Instrumental Ensembles, have promoted performances of “Haut les Corps,” an opera for children performed by the student choirs of the Alpes-Maritimes department.
By engaging film music composer Bruno Coulais and his librettist-director Orlando Forioso, Alain Joutard, Director of the Departmental Conservatory of Alpes-Maritimes, proposes the creation of an original work aimed at cycle 3 of the National Education system (5th grade and 6th-grade school choirs). The two performances will bring together 800 students from the coast and the midlands and highlands.
