In order to renew these official cooperation vows between Nice and Armenia, during the traditional New Year ceremony for 2019, Christian Estrosi announced that he will travel next April to Yerevan, a city twinned with Nice since 2007, with a delegation of representatives from the Armenian community, to meet with the new Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as well as business leaders and Armenian youth.
This visit will also be an opportunity to pay respects at the memorial dedicated to the victims of the genocide.
