Winners of the “Red and Black Schools Contest”, the students from the Madeleine Superior School Group met the captain of OGC Nice, Dante, during an unexpected meeting.
They will remember it for a long time! Yesterday afternoon, the first and second graders from Madeleine School received a special visit; that of Dante. The defender came to thank the students for their video clip made a few months earlier, in which these young fans of the club creatively showcased their passion for the city’s team.
Impressed and surprised by the Brazilian’s arrival in the room, the children improvised an interview with Dante, who played along and answered all the questions. Reactions of wonder erupted from every corner of the room with each answer. Particularly when the player from OGC Nice mentioned his achievements, playing with Neymar, and having faced Lionel Messi.
To thank the Nice captain for his visit, the little ones sang the very popular chant: “Whoever doesn’t jump isn’t from Nice.” This happy moment concluded with a signing session, much to the delight of the students who got to meet the footballer up close and capture the moment with a lovely group photo.
