The apprentices from CFA Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur meet with the European Parliament member Jean Arthuis.

Latest News

On Thursday the 31st, the European Movement – Alpes-Maritimes and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis are inviting European Deputy Jean Arthuis to visit the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis Apprentice Training Center (CFA) and meet with the apprentices.

This will be an opportunity for them to discuss the opening of the Erasmus program to apprentices, an initiative for which European Deputy Jean Arthuis has advocated.

He will visit the workshops, meet and engage with the apprentices, and then participate in a debate with the students.

Exactly one year ago, European Deputy Jean Arthuis presented his report to the Minister of Labor, Murielle Pénicaud, on the barriers to remove to promote apprentice mobility. Although the Erasmus program is open to apprentices, obstacles remain, and far fewer apprentices are able to benefit from it compared to students in general education programs.

This is why the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis CFA is promoting apprentice mobility through exchanges and professional internships. Germany, Italy, Brazil, and Canada are already among the destinations offered by the institution. This year, about twenty apprentices will be able to go to Barcelona, allowing them to develop their professional skills, language abilities, and gain experience.
