The Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris-Hôpitaux de France organizes the Pièces Jaunes operation every year, a fundraising event in support of hospitalized children and adolescents.
The collection will take place from 1 PM at the Palais de la Méditerranée. Everyone can bring their piggy bank inspired by the universe of the character Lucrèce imagined by Anne Goscinny and Catel Muller.
Since 1989, the Pièces Jaunes operation has already helped healthcare and medical teams to realize nearly 15,000 projects in favor of hospitalized children and adolescents in several hundred cities.
Several thousand of these piggy banks have been distributed across the municipalities of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis. For reference, 1 kilogram of yellow coins is equivalent to about 11 €.
The final weight will be announced by Mr. Patrick GARCIA from the Banque de France at the end of the event, around 6 PM.
