The department was classified this Friday morning by Santé publique France in the “Risk Exposure Zones” category.
The agency Santé publique France describes it in its protocols as follows: “Risk exposure zones are defined as French departments, or countries, for which a widespread community transmission of SARS-CoV-2 is described.”
450 people have died from Covid-19 since the beginning of the epidemic in France, including 78 since Thursday night. A total of 12,612 cases have been confirmed by tests, with 5,226 people hospitalized and 1,297 in critical condition, in intensive care.
