Covid-19 Tracking: A New Voluntary Servitude

Latest News

Voluntarily participating in the traceability of people infected with Covid-19 is nothing less than a new form of voluntary servitude. I invite every citizen to refuse to participate in any form of โ€œtrackingโ€ or โ€œtracing,โ€ permanent control of individuals, and denunciation.

โ€œWe are at war,โ€ โ€œcurfew,โ€ โ€œdrones,โ€ โ€œtracking,โ€ and โ€œtracingโ€ of infected peopleโ€ฆ From crisis to crisis and in the absence of real solutions, the security response gradually imposes itself, trivializing the relinquishment of our fundamental freedoms.

Under the guise of enforcing confinement, some, both locally and nationally, are attempting to establish a generalized surveillance society of individuals.
Presenting the security response as the only possible answer allows those in power to mask their inability to anticipate crises and respond to them adequately.

The security argument, whether in the face of the terrorist threat or the health threat, pushes citizens to โ€œconsentโ€ to renunciation.
The fabrication of this consent, a true political masterstroke, is nothing less than a new form of voluntary servitude.

In this same vein, the French government is preparing to propose its application for tracing people infected with Covid-19 on a voluntary basis.

I invite every citizen to refuse to participate in any form of โ€œtrackingโ€ and โ€œtracing,โ€ permanent control of individuals, and denunciation.
It is about our ability to overcome the crises we face without renouncing our values.

It is about our freedom and our humanity.
