The Environment Trophies competition allows all residents of Nice to contribute as active participants in improving their city’s living environment and making Nice greener. Schools, associations, and individuals can participate and submit their projects.
For the 2020 edition, two categories were offered:
“All Environment Topics” and “Climate Challenge.” The selected projects will receive financial support of up to 2,500 euros for the “All Environment Topics” category and 4,000 euros for the “Climate Challenge” category.
The call for applications received 62 projects, and the selection jury chose 31 of them.
The 31 winners are divided into 2 categories:
– 26 in the “All Environment Topics” category, including 14 schools, 1 middle school, 8 associations, and 3 individuals,
– 5 in the “Climate Challenge” category, including 3 schools and 2 associations.
In accordance with the competition rules, the winners will have one year from the announcement to implement their project and present a report to the administration. Each winner will also receive support from the Maison de l’Environnement to carry out their project.
