The coronavirus epidemic has claimed 243 more lives in 24 hours in France, bringing the total number of deaths since March 1 to 26,230, the Directorate General of Health announced this Friday in a statement.
Pressure on intensive care services continues to ease, with 93 fewer COVID-19 patients since Thursday, making a total of 2,868 severe cases, out of a total of 22,724 people currently hospitalized for coronavirus infection.
