Latest News

Closed since March 17, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 19 departmental natural parks of the Alpes-Maritimes will be reopened to the public starting this Wednesday.

After a long period of lockdown, the inhabitants of the Maralpins will be able to get some fresh air with reasonable access to these natural spaces, totaling 4,700 hectares, which usually welcome nearly 2.5 million visitors per year with high attendance in the spring.

The reopening of the departmental natural parks requires visitors to strictly adhere to social distancing guidelines (at least 1 meter between people) and safety measures. Gatherings of more than 10 people will be strictly prohibited.

There are some restrictions to note: the enclosed playgrounds of the Vaugrenier park in Villeneuve-Loubet, La Valmasque in the communes of Mougins-Valbonne, and Estienne dโ€™Orves in Nice, as well as the Nature House located in the Grande Corniche park in Eze, will remain closed.
