Special Olympics is the leading organization dedicated to the development of people with intellectual disabilities through sport. Present in 172 countries, Special Olympics brings together over 5 million athletes and is recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
The Special Olympics France delegation consisted of 85 athletes participating in 10 sports disciplines at the Special Olympics Games held in Abu Dhabi from March 14 to 21.
Four swimmers from the French Riviera represented France, and swimmers Jordan Minglis and Alexis Dupont were awarded medals. They will be received tonight at the Palais Sardes by the president of the Department, Charles-Ange Ginรฉsy.
