According to the Directorate General of Health (DGS), 1,665 patients with a severe form of Covid-19 are hospitalized in intensive care. The decline continues since there were 2,132 a week ago. 30 new severe cases have been admitted to intensive care in the past 24 hours compared to 46 a week ago. The net balance remains negative in intensive care, with 36 fewer patients compared to Friday.

In total, 17,178 people are being cared for in hospitals, which is a decrease of 205 in 24 hours. There were 19,432 a week ago. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 100,225 people have been hospitalized, of whom 17,701 were in intensive care. 64,547 people have returned home.

The DGS states that the next mortality update will take place on Monday, May 25. As has been observed, errors have been made on this subject.
