The number of people hospitalized for a SARS-CoV-2 infection continues to decrease slightly, reaching 13,514 (compared to 15,680 a week ago), according to the latest report from health authorities, released Wednesday evening.

On Tuesday, 1,210 people were in intensive care, compared to 1,680 a week ago.

Covid-19 has claimed at least 29,021 lives in France, including 18,671 in hospital settings, which is 81 more compared to Monday, and 10,350 in social and medico-social establishments.

In the Alpes-Maritimes, 252 deaths have been recorded, including 70 in EHPADs and socio-health establishments. There are still 102 people hospitalized, with 6 in intensive care;
