Following the intervention of the President of the Republic, this association decided to comment on this “promise”. Present throughout Europe, this “pressure group” promotes European integration. Its aim is to raise awareness of the actions of the European Union.
When discussing the European Union’s response, the head of state expressed his desire for a “solitary,” “independent,” and “sovereign” Europe in the face of China and the United States. He is committed to defending the consolidation of an independent Europe that will assert its identity during the next meeting of the Council of Europe in July 2020. The European Movement Alpes-Maritimes takes note of this commitment.
