Maritime connections between the Port of Nice and Corsica will resume on July 1st.

Latest News

Suspended since last March due to the Coronavirus crisis, maritime connections between the Port of Nice and Corsica will resume from the first week of July.

In accordance with Christian Estrosi’s wish to limit greenhouse gas emissions and in agreement with Pierre Mattei, CEO of Corsica Ferries, the ferry frequencies and schedules will be adjusted. This will help preserve the health and quality of life of the port’s local residents and also allow more space for entertainment programs benefiting port businesses.

After initiating the use of fuel with 0.1% sulfur content at the beginning of the year for ferries docking in Nice, Christian Estrosi and Pierre Mattei continue to collaborate closely and aim to make Nice a “Green Stopover,” with the goal of reducing the number of vehicles and promoting pedestrian crossings.
