23 people have died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 29,663 since the start of the epidemic, the General Directorate of Health announced on Monday evening in its daily press release.
9,693 people are still hospitalized for a Covid-19 infection, and 142 new admissions have been recorded. The balance remains negative in the intensive care units, with 26 fewer patients compared to last Friday. 701 patients with a severe form of COVID-19 are hospitalized there.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, 103,995 people have been hospitalized, including 18,298 in intensive care. 74,612 people have returned home.
