Nora Hamzawi at the Palais de la Méditerranée

Latest News

On Thursday, November 28 at 8:30 PM, Nora Hamzawi, a comedian and columnist originally from Cannes, will be performing a unique one-woman show at the Casino of the Palais de la Méditerranée.

Nora Hamzawi is back on stage with her new show “En rodage” for a tour across France. This 34-year-old from Cannes, who is both a comedian, actress, and French columnist, first took the stage in 2009, and since then has alternated between shows, radio columns, and acting roles.

She was first revealed to the public during the Just for Laughs festival in Nantes, and she is also a writer for the series “Scènes de ménage” on M6 and participates in television programs alongside Laurent Ruquier and Yann Barthes. She has also been a columnist on France Inter since 2013.

Maternity, relationship crises, social and sexual fulfillment, this young woman from Cannes is back with her new show. She dissects with style, lucidity, and self-mockery her life as a young woman who finds herself surprisingly in her thirties. With the same lucidity she inflicts on herself, she amusingly dissects her neuroses to ultimately help us better accept our own.

Synopsis of the show:

“Nora will come to tell you things, and depending on your reactions, either these things will end up in her next show, or they will dissolve into the space-time continuum never to resurface on Earth (or on stage) again.”

The venue of the show:

The show “En rodage” will take place at the Casino of the Palais de la Méditerranée, in a theater with a maximum capacity of 250 people, an ideal size to fully enjoy the show offered by Nora Hamzawi. This venue provides the opportunity to fully enjoy the casino’s restaurant right before the show starts. Note that if you feel inclined to play at the casino, the games will still be available. A parking facility is also available within the establishment for easier access.
