The Environment and Sustainable Development Week in Antibes

Until June 9, Antibes Juan-les-Pins, in partnership with numerous associations and contributors, is participating in the Environment and Sustainable Development Week.

As part of this awareness and informational week on the environment and sustainable development, various activities are scheduled:

– Wednesday, June 5 at 4 PM: “Sport and wellness in the city,” a workshop on power walking in an urban environment, in line with the PEPโ€™S program.

– Thursday, June 6 from 10 AM to 4 PM: At Port Vauban, a day dedicated to schoolchildren to discover this location in a fun and educational way. The public will have the opportunity to meet professionals, reconnect with the history of the port, and more.

– Saturday, June 8: Cigarette butt-free day! The city will distribute pocket ashtrays along the Juan-les-Pins coast.

– Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9: Various activities and talks on selective sorting, mobility, composting, nutrition, and aromatic plants. Awareness on “zero waste” is also planned.

– Sunday, June 9: At Villa Thuret, the INRA botanical garden will be open on the theme: “Animals in the garden.”
