The health crisis has passed (at least in people’s minds), and now it’s the economic crisis taking center stage.
The tourist resorts in the hinterland of Nice, in search of tourists and visitors, have taken the bull by the horns… the ski lifts are free this summer for pedestrians and mountain bikes in Auron and Isola 2000.
Since this Saturday, July 4, the ski lifts have been running in Auron and Saint-Etienne de Tinรฉe. In Isola 2000, the gondolas are also running continuously to access the Bike Park and the downhill trails.
Whether you’re into hiking or downhill mountain biking, you should know that access to the ski lifts in Auron/Saint-Etienne de Tinรฉe is free until August 30. The site offers 14 downhill trails totaling 50 km and 4 circuits dedicated to electric bikes.
At Isola 2000, the Bike Park has been open continuously since July 4 and will remain open until August 30 (also on September 5 and 6).
The station offers 15.5 km of descent along the Chastillon and Guerche rivers, from Isola 2000 to Isola Village (with a drop of 1130 m), featuring 1 green trail, 3 blue trails, 3 red trails, and 2 black trails. The ski lifts are accessible from 9 am to 5 pm, non-stop.
Note that in Valberg too, the chairlifts have been operating continuously since Friday, July 3, providing access to the Bike Park consisting of 5 Enduro MTB trails (1 green, 1 blue, 2 red, and 1 black), 1 downhill MTB trail (double-black), mountain bike rides, and hiking trails.
