The new president of MEDEF Sud has a name: Yvon Grosso. Elected this Wednesday, he succeeds Jean-Luc Monteil. Let’s introduce you to him!
Hello to you, Yvon Grosso! The new president of MEDEF Sud was elected on June 12, defeating Jean-Philippe Salducci (UMF) with 49 votes against 24. As the new president of MEDEF Sud, Yvon Grosso also becomes the president of the Regional Employers’ Union (UPR) for a duration of 3 years.
The sexagenarian expressed his desire to build MEDEF as a model to follow: “I thank the administrators for their trust and commit to only one mandate. I wish to maintain the momentum he has initiated and make our organization a unifying MEDEF, advocating and participating in public debate to serve our members and delegates. As intermediary bodies need to reinvent themselves, I aspire to make MEDEF Sud a model to follow, rooted in its time and territory.”
At the statutory level, the various bodies of MEDEF Sud will be renewed during an upcoming board meeting. Meanwhile, Bruno Olagnier (regional correspondent for FFA) and Gรฉrard Ferrรฉol (president of URIP PACA) are reconfirmed in their respective positions as secretary and treasurer of MEDEF Sud and UPR PACA.
