Proposed as part of the Greening Plan and endorsed by the residents of the Bornala/Carlone/Canta Galet/Monari area during the latest Centre-West Territory Council, the redevelopment of Square Moretti has just been completed after three months of work.
The access points to Ferdinand Moretti Square are now secured with a tall fence that prevents access by vehicles, particularly two-wheelers which used to cause disturbances. The garden has also undergone a greening operation with the planting of 3 street trees, 4 ornamental trees, as well as Mediterranean and flowering shrubs. Finally, new urban furniture has been installed: 5 benches, 2 picnic tables, and 2 trash bins.
