COVID-19: Call to Respect the 3Ms (Meter, Hands, Masks)

Latest News

“The transmission of the virus is increasing,” indicates the DGS. “It affects all age groups and particularly young adults,” before stating: “nearly one third of departments exceed, over the past seven days, the vigilance threshold of 10 new positive RT-PCR tests per 100,000 inhabitants.”

“In Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, several departments have rapidly increasing incidence rates, above the alert threshold of 50 per 100,000.”

To reduce the risk of infections, the DGS recommends avoiding overly large friendly and family gatherings, and especially following the “3M”: “Meter, Hands, Masks,” which are synonymous with the protective measures to be applied (maintain a one-meter distance, wash hands, and wear a mask). “At the slightest symptom, even mild, if I have been exposed to a risk or if I am returning from a country where the virus is actively circulating (…) request a virological test,” the institution states. The DGS also advises isolating at the first signs.
