The Climate and Urban Planning plans at the center of the metropolitan assembly’s deliberations.

The Metropolitan Council addressed important topics such as the 2019-2025 Territorial Climate-Air-Energy Plan, which involves the creation of a local committee for its implementation and management, and agreements with CNRS and Air Climat.

During the debate, Christian Estrosi announced, “I have decided to put an immediate end to the port project at the airport.”

The initial analyses provided by the services confirm the major constraints identified in previous studies. The environmental, technical, and regulatory conditions are not met,” stated the mayor of Nice, during the presentation of the “2025 Territorial Climate-Air-Energy Plan.”

Another point worth mentioning is the establishment of the territorial attractiveness agency called “Nice Côte d’Azur Partners” under the public interest group (GIP).

Finally, the councilors deliberated on the Metropolitan Local Urban Plan, which was approved by each municipality before being voted on by the metropolitan assembly.
