“The Taste of Nice” offers family-friendly activities this Saturday to rediscover chestnuts, the many ways to enjoy them, and the remarkable expertise of professionals who showcase this unique fruit.
In front of the store, chestnut roasters will be set up, and passersby will be invited to taste local chestnuts. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover chestnut culinary recipes and sample the numerous products made from chestnuts.
Polenta cooked in a cauldron will also be available for tasting from 12 pm to 1 pm.
Chestnut professionals from the Azure region, members of the Isola Agricultural Union, will be on site to introduce their work and the fruit of their beautiful trade to young and old alike.
A “photobooth” station will be set up, allowing visitors to leave with a keepsake. Musical entertainment and face painting workshops will be offered to children.
