At the initiative of Madame Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, a delegation of Mayors and elected officials from the Alpes-Maritimes were received at the Senate on the occasion of the latest Congress of Mayors as part of the 2014-2020 municipal mandate.
The Senators wished to pay tribute to the local elected officials, actors of the Republic who weave social ties with the constituents and build community within a deeply fractured society.
