Born in 1945, Secours Populaire is committed to fighting poverty and exclusion, primarily through the dedication of thousands of volunteers. For decades, this non-profit organization has created the Green Santa initiative to allow children and families in need to celebrate Christmas with dignity.
In a volunteer-driven effort, the 3A Hotels La Collection group, which includes the Hotel West End, Hotel Aston La Scala, and Hotel & Beach Beau Rivage, offers its many visitors and residents of Nice the opportunity to participate in this campaign by making a donation.
During the first two Wednesdays and Saturdays of December 2019, those who wish to do so are invited to place toys they no longer need at the foot of the majestic Christmas trees in the heart of each hotel. An army of Green Santas, consisting of volunteers, will come to collect them to offer them for sale, thereby supporting the real Santa Claus. The funds raised will allow for the purchase of numerous new toys for children in need.
