Having played for Drancy and then Fréjus Saint Raphaël before signing with OGCN, Patrick Burner (24 years old) left Nice to join the Gardois club.

Originally from Fort-de-France, Patrick Burner joined the OGCN training center at the start of the 2012-2013 season. Only 16 years old at the time, he signed his first professional contract four years later after making his mark at Fréjus and then in CFA with the Gym. Thrown into the deep end of Ligue 1 by Lucien Favre in 2016, the player played as a right-back. Over the past three seasons, the diminutive defender (1.70 m for 65 kg) has played 73 matches and scored one goal against Monaco in September 2019.

The Frenchman has committed for the next four seasons for an amount that should approximate 3 million euros.
