As the Carrefour Market store prepares to open its doors, visitors will be able to discover the “Everyone in the Kitchen” concept, aimed at the pleasure of good eating.

The privilege of good taste, fresh products, the pleasure of cooking and eating well, these are the ambitions of the Carrefour Market Le Ray store, now located in place of the old Ray stadium. As final preparations are underway to welcome visitors from 8 a.m. this Tuesday morning, the store is launching a new concept called “Everyone in the Kitchen.”

Strong and distinct themes to encourage better eating with very reasonable prices for customers, this is what the brand aims to offer: “We work a lot on promotions to make goods available to customers,” states Catherine Moreau, director of Carrefour Market Le Ray. The store offers a wide range of fresh products. An aisle titled “Ready for” is solely dedicated to assembled products like rotisserie chickens, paella, and vegetables, all prepared by skilled chefs. Within a fresh greenhouse, fruits and vegetables are displayed on the shelves, often local products from the hinterland or the region. The campaign to eat well doesn’t stop there. A quality butcher shop with fresh meat, as well as a fishmonger offering a variety of seafood and local fish, are also featured.

A modern store dedicated to maintaining a healthy and balanced diet

Even with the store closed, the staff stays busy. With ingredients from Italy, Japan, the objectives are to offer a multitude of products to broaden customers’ food consumption and delight their taste buds with new flavors. This modern store stands out from others notably with its many organic sections featuring impressive equipment. It includes a grinder for almonds or hazelnuts allowing customers to make their own spread. The same color as “Nutella” but only with hazelnuts inside. Local fruit juice, organic regional products like olive oil, charcuterie terrines, small local traders are visible within the store. A good thing for them during such challenging times.

As Cedric Roussel, a member of parliament, attentively attends the visit, there is a lot of pride and excitement about this new adventure that is about to begin. “It’s the result of collective work, emphasizing the best possible cooking, and initiating a fight against waste,” declares the deputy mayor, Anthony Borré. This intention to improve the eating habits of the people of Nice also results from an economic boost with the creation of 30 additional jobs.
