Since the beginning of the year, France has been at the helm of the French Presidency of the European Union and will continue to do so until next June. The capital of the French Riviera has implemented a European program for the entire duration of this role.
It had been 14 years since France was elected to the presidency of the Council of the European Union. From January 1st to June 8th, France will hold this central role within the framework of collective European actions.
To accompany this French presidency, the City of Nice is offering the people of Nice a program of events with European flair, from January to June 2022.
This program, consisting of more than 60 events, is intended for all residents of Nice, regardless of age, with the aim of raising awareness about the powers and identity of Europe. It will include debates, concerts, joint activities, and competitions.
