The newspaper Le Figaro published a ranking to determine which French cities are the least stressful. Nice has earned a good spot.
Using data corresponding to various factors such as road noise, population density, the amount of sunshine, traffic congestion, and commuting time between home and work, the newspaper โLe Figaroโ was able to identify, among the 20 largest cities in France, which were the least stressful.
Nice ranks 5th in this ranking, behind Angers, Reims, Grenoble, and Rennes.
The capital of the French Riviera is the highest-ranked city in southern France, with a score of 12.5 out of 20. It is also the first city in this ranking to be by the sea.
โNissa la bellaโ is an exception among southern cities. Indeed, except for Toulon, which is in the top 10, the other southern cities are at the bottom of the ranking with below-average scores, with only Marseille scoring 10.26 out of 20.
