Following the request from Chambray Touraine Handball, the match against OGC Nice Handball Cรดte-dโAzur, which was scheduled for this Wednesday, has been postponed not due to the emergence of new contact cases related to Covid-19, but as a precaution.
OGC Nice Handball Cรดte-dโAzur was supposed to host Chambray Touraine Handball (CTHB) this Wednesday at the Charles Ehrmann sports hall. Unfortunately, this match of the 6th day of the women’s championship will not take place on that day, once again due to Covid-19.
The CTHB players were scheduled to fly out this Tuesday. But following an announcement of several positive cases within the Paris 92 team, which Chambray faced last Friday, the match between the Azurรฉennes and the Chambraisiennes was finally postponed as a safety and health precaution.
The players led by Djeneba Tourรฉ have therefore been placed in isolation. For the moment, neither team’s roster has any positive cases to report. To avoid further risks, the Chambray club deemed it wiser to postpone the match in Cรดte-d’Azur with the agreement of OGC Nice Handball. A decision that the Gym respected.
Consequently, this fifth match of the 6th day of the LBE will take place on another date, which remains unknown for now. Meanwhile, the Nice team will travel again to face the mentioned team, Paris 92, on November 4th. The very club that declared several positive cases after their match against Chambray. A match that might very well face the same consequences regarding the risks related to the Coronavirus.
