A study conducted by the Creavea site has ranked the 10 most creative cities in France.
An extremely tight ranking. The company Creavea analyzed the 11 largest French cities (200,000 inhabitants) to determine which one is the most creative. This company was founded in 2005 by Nicolas Miras. The concept is to allow online purchases of materials to create jewelry, furniture, and various everyday objects.
The data collected by the French creation site is based on different criteria:
– The number of structures and creative leisure activities in each city
– The number of creative businesses in each city
– The number of Creavea customers living in these cities
– The number of creative fairs and leisure activities in each of these cities
Based on these criteria, the company assigns a score. Points are distributed according to the number of inhabitants per leisure store, the number of company clients who placed at least one order in 2021, the creative craft structures established in each city, and bonus points for cities that host fairs and activities related to creation.
No surprise, Paris (49 points) tops this ranking, followed by the cities of Lyon (47 points) and Montpellier (43 points). Nice is ranked sixth with 36 points.
