Expected to have a difficult season after their initial three defeats, the Picards turned things around… during the reception of Nice on August 26th. Against “Aiglons” off their game, Christophe Pelissier’s men secured the first victory in their history in Ligue 1 (3-0), led by an unstoppable Kakuta (15′) and a double from Konaté (28′, 89′).
Building on this summer success against Strasbourg (winning 0-1), the Picards’ season took off. They even climbed to 9th place by the end of November, following a successful period (4 wins and 3 draws in 7 matches).
