After being tested in over 15 different schools, the “My Class” app has finally been launched in Nice!


The mayor of Nice was determined to deploy more digital tools in schools, providing teachers with new teaching tools and allowing students to have innovative digital solutions for their learning. It’s now a reality!

Arise, children of the fatherland, the day of glory has arrived…” It was to the tune of the national anthem hummed by the students of Ronchèse school in Nice that Christian Estrosi and His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco were welcomed, here to present this new initiative.
Already launched in Monaco, Nice is the first French city to adopt it!

This educational tool, designed for CM1 and CM2 students, bridges the gap between school and home while reinforcing the learning of French in a fun and creative way.

After catching their breath, the students resumed attending classes and tried out this brand new resource.
“Their or theirs?”, thanks to a cartoon, the students of Ronchèse school can now figure it out. Indeed, the learning tool offers an innovative format of 3D animated tutorials featuring characters.

After my son experienced attention issues at school, I was looking for a solution to help him. It was when I saw him one evening watching cartoons that the idea came to me,” explained Philippe Denain, the creator of the application.

To support the launch of My Class, the city of Nice has deployed over 80 interactive projectors and connected boards in its schools.
By 2024, all of Nice’s primary school classes are expected to be equipped with them.

In Monaco, the application has already proven successful. “They learn while having fun; grammar is no longer tedious and dull,” inferred Isabelle Bonnal, Commissioner General in charge of the Department of National Education, Youth, and Sports.
