This Sunday, on Place Masséna, an assembly took place for the sponsorship day of exiled families.
As the war in Ukraine continues, the Network for Education Without Borders launched a sponsorship plan for exiled families, regardless of their nationality.
The goal is simple: to help them regularize their situation by providing both administrative and moral support.
Tied by a certificate of republican sponsorship and under the ovation of a guard of honor, expatriate families were successively called to the square to meet their sponsors.
“Make a difference” was the watchword!
For some families, they have already been residing in France for more than ten years and are still unable to regularize their situation. This sponsorship system is therefore an opportunity for them to find external and concrete help from locals.
