Xavier GARCIA, the first secretary of the Socialist Party of the Alpes-Maritimes, has contacted the Mayor of Nice, Christian ESTROSI, by letter to request the conduction of a census (count and anonymous questionnaires) of the homeless population in the city of Nice. He suggests mobilizing municipal officials and associations, following the model recently implemented under the Paris city hall’s guidance and which is regularly carried out in cities like New York, Athens, London, Brussels, or Barcelona.
The PS 06 is ready to mobilize volunteers and meet with the Mayor to offer proposals regarding the organization of such an operation.
