The return to normalcy continues. Terminal 1 of Nice Côte d’Azur Airport has reopened after two years of closure. The reopening was also highly anticipated by the merchants located in the terminal. They hope for a positive recovery, despite the absence of Russian customers who accounted for 25% of sales.
Terminal 1 serves 52 destinations out of the hundred offered by the airport, 38 out of 58 airlines, and 29 countries.
The choice of destinations is still far from what it was before the health crisis. In the summer of 2019, the airport offered 121 destinations to 41 countries. A total of 14.5 million travelers passed through Nice.
Nice Airport is the second-largest airport in France after those in Paris.
