In hospitals, the decline continues slowly. According to the latest data from Public Health France, 25,800 people are still hospitalized due to Covid-19. There were 28,603 seven days ago. The country has not dropped below 24,000 since last November. In the last 24 hours, 844 new patients have been admitted to the hospital for complications related to the coronavirus.
Critical care units are also slowly becoming less congested. In total, 5,005 patients are still in these services reserved for the most severe cases – intensive care units, intensive treatment units, or continuous monitoring units. There were 5,581 seven days ago.
