The modernization project of the Antibes nautical stadium started on March 1st with the demolition of the diving board and the diving pit. The work, which will last 21 months, is organized in two phases.
First, the construction of an Olympic 50m pool in place of the current pit.
Then, the construction of a building intended for athletes, the rehabilitation of all the poolside areas and the existing 50m pool.
The entire new facility, designed with environmental considerations in mind, will be delivered in the fall of 2019. The swimming pool will remain open during the construction period.
The budget for the operation is €11 million excluding tax.
