At the Socialist Party, the diaspora continues…

After those who have “en marche,” it is the turn of the “left wing” to join other nests.

This is the case of former municipal councilor Yann Librati and former president of the departmental Young Socialists Mélanie Russo, who have announced their joining of Benoit Hamon’s movement.

“After long reflection, we have made the decision to resign from the Socialist Party,” they stated in a communiqué sent yesterday afternoon.

Their motivations are clear: “We cannot continue to endorse what will be a desperate attempt to perpetuate social democracy in France. It is naturally that we have decided to modestly reinforce the extraordinary dynamic around the Génération.s movement led by Benoit Hamon.”
