The city of Nice, in partnership with Pรดle Emploi, is organizing a forum dedicated to job searching in the personal services sector.
This is one of the sectors where employers face the most difficulty recruiting, yet it offers many advantages. Many stereotypes contribute to this. Jobs in personal care have been highlighted by a group of organizations that have mobilized to encourage young people to join these training programs through concrete internship proposals, opportunities for further studies, and a range of options that allow easy entry into this sector and job stability.
We attended the event and were able to interview the heads of the organizations, among them, Eric Bufarull, director of the home personal care division.
“Our goal is to have multiple spaces for training, coaching, and integration,” he also states, “it is a sector that recruits heavily.” “We want to offer innovative training like the SAAD academy.” “People have preconceived notions even though itโs the sector with the most ongoing training.” “The idea is to welcome interested jobseekers so that they can find a contract.”
The proposals seem attractive, but it remains to be seen whether they will convince the young people who made the trip.
