Cécile chose to return to the village of her childhood after her retirement, leaving Bordeaux for Saint Médard, where she acquires a house. One of those old buildings, full of stories and legends, that rarely reveal themselves.
Cécile discovers old objects that tell the great secret of this village, which she wants to unravel. While renovating her new house, she becomes friends with her neighbors. A plaque, like there are unfortunately too many in our countryside, mentions a tragedy dating back to March 1944.
Thus, Cécile is going to discover the great secret thanks to photos in an old rusty box. But not everyone agrees, as the villagers view this city dweller digging into their past with suspicion.

A world quite difficult to understand for city dwellers, who often do not know their neighbors, whereas here in Saint Médard, everyone knows each other.
