In total, 8,232 Covid-19 patients are currently being treated in hospitals, compared to 8,451 on Wednesday and 9,190 last Thursday. Over the past 24 hours, Santé Publique France has reported 29 new deaths related to Covid-19. A total of 111,111 people have lost their lives due to the epidemic in France.
The number of new confirmed cases is 2,664, which is more than in previous days but not exceptional.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign, “34,103,180 people have received at least one injection (representing 50.6% of the total population),” according to the Directorate General of Health. Currently, 23,270,971 people have a complete vaccination schedule (representing 34.5% of the total population).
