After four seasons wearing the Gym’s jersey, midfielder Pierre Lees-Melou is set to head to England to sign with Norwich.
Having arrived from Dijon in 2017, the red and black number 8 can leave the Côte d’Azur with his head held high, having played 140 matches (18 goals – 16 assists).
At 28 years old, he will experience a new league with Norwich, last season’s English second division champions.
The eaglets have announced their first signing: born on December 18, 1998, Calvin Stengs was trained at AZ Alkmaar before being thrown into the deep end during the 2016-17 season and establishing himself as a starter during the 2018-19 season.
With AZ Alkmaar, who finished 3rd in the last Eredivisie, he played 113 matches (across all competitions), including 78 in the league, with 24 goals and 24 assists. He has made 7 appearances for the national team.
