As part of an agreement for education and sustainable development, the City of Nice, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, and the departmental services of National Education have committed to supporting educational actions for environmental education and sustainable development in schools.
This commitment was realized through the annual educational program “At the School of Sustainable Development” in the Nice Côte d’Azur area. It enables teachers in nursery and primary schools, as well as in specialized institutions, within the 49 municipalities of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis to benefit from thematic educational activities.
Twelve classes from Nice have been able to exchange with foreign classes. Among them, four primary classes are exchanging with Ivorian classes (from CE2 to CM2 level) through correspondences between primary schools in Nice and Ivory Coast.
The letters from students in Nice (from Corniche fleurie school, Rancher school, and Rothschild school) were thus able to be delivered to the Ivorian children.
This Friday, it is the turn of the Nice students to receive the little notes written by their Ivorian friends.
