On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Jewish Community of Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Haïm Korsia, Chief Rabbi of France, will be received at the Town Hall of Saint-Laurent-du-Var by the President of the Metropolis Christian Estrosi and the Mayor of Saint-Laurent-du-Var Joseph Segura.
With its 200 families, the Jewish Community of Saint-Laurent-du-Var provides, within its synagogue located in the heart of the city, services, Talmud Torah, weekly classes and monthly lectures, as well as a burial service facilitated by the existence of the Jewish section in the communal cemetery.
On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, the exhibition “In Search of Judaism” is being presented at the Town Hall of Saint-Laurent-du-Var until June 18.
