In order to bring its musicians closer to the people of Nice, the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra “steps outside its walls” and regularly offers free concerts in the city.
This is why it will be performing at the 109 this Tuesday, June 26 at 9 PM.
Conducted by Frรฉdรฉric Deloche, the first part of this concert will feature the overture Les Hรฉbrides by Felix Mendelssohn.
The evening will continue with Mozart as his Horn Concerto No. 1 is scheduled. A piece that requires great virtuosity from the soloist, and Bruno Caulier will rise to the challenge.
To conclude this concert, there will be a return to Mendelssohn with Symphony No. 4 in A major, known as the Italian, as the composer was inspired to write it by the landscapes seen and emotions felt during his journey across the Alps.
