Every year around the same time, the Hippodrome of the Cรดte d’Azur organizes a rich program of events from Friday, July 13 to Saturday, August 25. The schedule is filled with themed evenings and fun activities.
Yesterday morning, Franรงois Forciolli-Conti, President of the Sociรฉtรฉ des Courses de la Cรดte d’Azur, detailed this at the Cagnes-sur-Mer hippodrome in the presence of the press, who were invited to the event: “Les Nuits d’รtรฉ will offer the public the opportunity to attend numerous shows such as trot races, fireworks, and even a live dinner.”
Children will also be able to delight in these beautiful summer evenings by enjoying free activities, ranging from inflatable structures to bicycles and pony rides, ensuring lots of laughter.
And if you don’t have children, allow yourself to be immersed in this exceptional setting with friends or family. Novices will have the chance to experience the thrilling Summer Meeting at the Hippodrome of the Cรดte d’Azur, thus gaining insight into a world often unknown to the general public.
“Traditionally, the Grand Prix of Cagnes-sur-Mer attracts more than 8,000 people, making it the most attended evening of the whole summer meeting,” says Franรงois Forciolli-Conti. “This year again, the city’s tourism office will give a unique dimension to this event by including a Street Art show, creating an exceptional evening named Hippodrome en Fรชte! on July 25 during the Grand Prix.” Something to look forward to indeed, especially since the entrance to the hippodrome will be exceptionally free for everyone!
The President of the Sociรฉtรฉ des Courses also emphasized the new features and renovations that took place this year at the hippodrome. These include a facelift of the presentation ring, the creation of an area for checking horseshoes, the addition of 700 tons of sand, the construction of a parking lot near the Administrative Center, renovation of entrances, and tree planting, praising the fact that the work was done by the siteโs employees.
As a reminder, the Cagnes-sur-Mer hippodrome is the second-largest in France, covering an area of 60 hectares with a capacity to accommodate 12,000 people.
