Residents of Nice since 2015, Maxime Le Marchand and Jean-Michaรซl Seri are leaving the Gym to explore the Premier League. They have been recruited by Fulham, who are returning to the English top division after a stint in the lower tier.
MIKA SERI, THE LITTLE METRONOME
Arriving in the summer of 2015 from Paรงos de Ferreira (Portugal), Mika Seri wore the Nice colors for 3 seasons. A true midfield leader under the guidance of Claude Puel and then Lucien Favre, “Mika” played 122 matches with the Gym (102 in Ligue 1, 13 in European competitions, 5 in the Coupe de la Ligue, and 2 in the Coupe de France).
The Ivorian international took the opportunity to score 12 goals and provide his teammates with 23 assists.
At 26 years old, and after playing a major role in the Gym’s return to the top of the league table, Seri is set to discover a new championship.
LE MARCHAND, THE EXEMPLARY GUARDIAN
Recruited from Le Havre, Maxime discovered Ligue 1 with OGC Nice, where he quickly established himself. With a strong first season, the elegant defender contributed to the return of the Azurean club to the European stage.
After 81 matches in the Nice jersey (2 goals, 3 assists), the left-footer is about to experience his first taste of playing abroad, in the highly competitive Premier League.
